The Professor (Sergio Marquina) is a fictional character in the Netflix series ''Money Heist'', portrayed by Álvaro Morte. He is the mastermind of the heist who assembled the group, as well as Berlin's long lost brother. Álvaro Antonio García Pérez (born 23 February 1975), known professionally as Álvaro Morte, is a Spanish actor. He gained worldwide recognition for playing the role of ' The Professor' in the television series '' Money Heist''.
