Gregory Evans is a British television scriptwriter, playwright and radio dramatist. He has also written short stories, features and reviews for journals such as Harpers & Queen, Woman's Journal, The Observer and The Guardian online, and worked as a film critic for Harper's. He has published a book for young children, ''Owl in the House''. His stage adaptation of H. E. Bates's novel '' Fair Stood the Wind for France'' was produced at the Royal Theatre (Northampton). His tragi-comedy ''Shirleymander'', inspired by Andrew Hosken's book '' Nothing Like a Dame'', was staged at the newly-opened Playground Theatre in West London in May and June 2018. Jeremy Philip Northam (born 1 December 1961) is an English actor. Edward William Chaillet, III ( ; born 29 November 1944) is a radio drama Producer (radio), producer and director, writer and journalist. Chaillet, American by birth, was born in Boston, Boston, Massachusetts, but is a "native of Washington" according to ''The New York Times''. He has lived in Britain since 1973. His newspaper career began at the ''Washington Evening Star'' in 1964, interrupted by service in the United States Army. He then lived in Europe, founded the Free State Theater company in Maryland, and studied at the University of Maryland, College Park and California Institute of the Arts. Chaillet moved to London in 1973 to work at ''The Times Literary Supplement'' for the editors Arthur Crook and John Gross 1974–76.
