The Palace Of Deceit
''Palace of Deceit'' is a video game written by Cliff Bleszinski in 1991 in his own company Game Syndicate Productions at the age of 16. The first edition subtitled ''The Secret of Castle Lockemoer'' was a text adventure for MS-DOS. On August 31, 1992, it was remade for Windows 3.x and subtitled ''The Dragon's Plight'' as a graphical point-and-click adventure game with an entirely new plot and graphics. Both games are played in a first-person perspective and have been released as freeware. Bleszinski's inspiration came from video games like '' Déjà Vu'' and '' Uninvited''. Cliff Bleszinski
Cliff Bleszinski (; born February 12, 1975), popularly known as CliffyB, is an American video game designer, known for his work in the development of the '' Unreal'' and ''Gears of War'' series. After working at Epic Games from 1992 to 2012, he co-founded Boss Key Productions in 2014. Career Bleszinski's first game was '' The Palace of Deceit'', an adventure title he started at the age of 15. Programmed in Visual Basic, its second version came out when he was 16. Epic Games (1992–2012) Bleszinski got his start at Epic Games in 1992, after submitting his game ''Dare to Dream'' to the company's CEO, Tim Sweeney. Though ''Dare to Dream'' did not achieve a great success, it led Bleszinski to work on '' Jazz Jackrabbit'', a platformer co-developed by demoscene coder Arjan Brussee. ''Shadowgate'' is a black-and-white 1987 in video gaming, 1987 point-and-click game, point-and-click adventure game, adventure video game originally for the Apple Macintosh in the MacVenture series. The game is named for its setting, Castle Shadowgate, residence of the evil Warlock Lord. The player character, player, as the "last of a great line of hero-kings" is charged with the task of saving the world by defeating the Warlock Lord, who is attempting to summon up the demon Behemoth out of Hell. Microsoft Paint is a simple raster graphics editor that has been included with all versions of Microsoft Windows. The program opens and saves files in Windows bitmap (BMP), JPEG, GIF, PNG, and single-page TIFF formats. The program can be in color mode or two-color black-and-white, but there is no grayscale mode. For its simplicity and wide availability, it rapidly became one of the most used Windows applications, introducing many to painting on a computer for the first time.
