TNT (Norwegian Band)
TNT is a Norwegian hard rock band from Trondheim, formed in 1982. The band has released fourteen studio albums, three EPs and four live albums while going through numerous lineup changes since its formation. Guitarist Ronni Le Tekrø is the only consistent member of the band. TNT has sold between 4–5 million albums worldwide as of 2016. Hard rock or heavy rock is a heavier subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and Distortion (music), distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the Garage rock, garage, Psychedelic rock, psychedelic and blues rock movements. ''Atlantis'' is the eleventh studio album by Norwegian rock band TNT. It was released on 22 September 2008. Reception The album was much more well received than ''The New Territory'', with many Norwegian outlets giving it 5 or 6 out of 6, European metal review site ''Hard Rock Haven'' giving it 8.1/10. However, ''Melodic Rock'' gave it a significantly less enthusiastic review of 69%, though the reviewer did state it was better than ''The New Territory''. Anthony Paul Mills (7 July 1962 – 18 September 2019) was an English Rock music, rock singer, best known for his work with Shy (band), Shy and TNT (Norwegian band), TNT. Early life and career Mills was born in Birmingham. In 1983 he joined the band Shy (band), Shy. He recorded eight albums with the Album-oriented rock, AOR/glam metal band, including the ''Excess All Areas (Shy album), Excess All Areas''. Ronni Le Tekrø
Ronni Le Tekrø (born Rolf Ågrim Tekrø, 5 October 1963) is a Norwegian musician best known as the guitarist and one of the founders of hard rock band TNT, as a solo artist and for his work with Vagabond and Terje Rypdal. He has been described as "one of the foremost purveyors of melodic metal", with ''Guitar World'' ranking him as one of the ten best guitarists in the world in 1989 and one of 25 influential cult guitarists in 2009. Le Tekrø resides in Nyhagen in Vestre Toten, where he also runs his own studio. He has released thirteen studio albums with TNT and six solo albums. Victor Borge (bassist)
Victor Cito Borge (born 18 December 1965 in Grünerløkka, Oslo, Norway) is a bassist best known for playing in the Norwegian hard rock band TNT. He joined TNT in 2005, replacing Sid Ringsby, and played on three studio albums and one live album. Borge left TNT in December 2012 to pursue another project, but rejoined in late 2013. Borge started playing the bass when he was 8 years old. He has also played in the black metal bands Khold and Tulus, and the rock bands Jack in the Box and Autopulver, both of which included former TNT drummer Frode Lamøy. Diesel Dahl
Morten "Diesel" Dahl (born 19 June 1959) is a Norwegian musician. He is the drummer and a founding member of the hard rock band TNT. He started playing the drums at the age of 15, and played in bands like Burn, Edge and Hotlips before he formed TNT together with vocalist Dag Ingebrigtsen in 1982. Dahl played on the first three TNT albums and co-wrote their biggest hit, " 10,000 Lovers (In One)", before he parted ways with the band in the fall of 1987. The following year he formed the band TinDrum, who got a national number 1 hit with "Drums of War". In the early 1990s Dahl joined the local Hells Angels motorcycle club in Trondheim and became their spokesperson. Throughout the 1990s he played in various bands, such as Diesel Dahl & Friends and Diezel, before he officially reunited with TNT in 2000. He left Hells Angels in 2005. Dag Stokke
Dag Stokke (1 April 1967 – 27 April 2011) was a Norwegian keyboardist, church organist and mastering engineer best known for his work with the Norwegian rock bands TNT and Vagabond. He owned an online mastering service called OnlineMastering. Career Stokke was TNT's live keyboardist from April 1987 to 2011 and played on every TNT album from '' Realized Fantasies'' (1992) to ''A Farewell to Arms'' (2010). However, he was never a permanent TNT member. "I'm cool with my position in TNT," he said in a 2010 interview, "Some people ask me why I'm not in the pictures and why I'm not profiled.
