''The Santa Clause 2'' (also known as ''The Santa Clause 2: The Mrs. Clause'') is a 2002 American Christmas fantasy comedy film directed by Michael Lembeck in his directorial debut. It is the sequel to ''The Santa Clause'' (1994) and the second installment in ''The Santa Clause'' franchise. All of the principal actors from the first film, including Tim Allen, Eric Lloyd, Judge Reinhold, Wendy Crewson, and David Krumholtz, reprise their roles, and are joined by Elizabeth Mitchell, Spencer Breslin, and Liliana Mumy. ''The Santa Clause 2'' premiered in Los Angeles on October 23, 2002, and was theatrically released in the United States on November 1. Michael Lembeck
Michael Lembeck (born June 25, 1948) is an American actor and television and film director. He is best known as Max Horvath in ''One Day at a Time (1975 TV series), One Day at a Time'' (1979–1984). Life and career Lembeck was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Caroline Dubs and Harvey Lembeck, an actor and comedian. His parents practiced the Jewish faith. He began acting in the late 1960s and directing in the 1970s. His most notable acting role was as Julie Cooper (Mackenzie Phillips)'s husband, Max Horvath, on the sitcom ''One Day at a Time (1975 TV series), One Day at a Time''. Adam Greenberg, A.S.C. (Hebrew: אדם גרינברג) is a retired Israeli-American cinematographer He is noted for his work in Israeli and American productions, including several action films starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, most notably the first two '' Terminator'' movies, which the sequel earned him a nomination at the Academy Award for Best Cinematography. ''The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause'' is a 2006 American Christmas comedy film directed by Michael Lembeck. It is the third installment in ''The Santa Clause'' franchise, following ''The Santa Clause'' (1994) and ''The Santa Clause 2'' (2002). The film features Tim Allen returning as Scott Calvin, who must find a way to reverse a spell cast by Jack Frost (Martin Short) that caused him to lose his title of Santa Claus.
