The Moonlandingz
The Moonlandingz are an English rock band, formed in 2015. The band consists of Eccentronic Research Council duo Adrian Flanagan and Dean Honer, along with Fat White Family members Saul Adamczewski and Lias Kaci Saoudi. The band was originally designed as a concept act for the Eccentronic Research Council's fifth album ''Johnny Rocket, Narcissist and Music Machine…I'm Your Biggest Fan'', with the act's charismatic and otherworldly frontman Johnny Rocket being played by Saoudi. Since the release of ''Johnny Rocket, Narcissist and Music Machine…I'm Your Biggest Fan'' in 2015, the group have continued to play live and record together, releasing two EPs under The Moonlandingz name and a full-length album - '' Interplanetary Class Classics'' in 2017. ''No Rocket Required'' is the second studio album by English rock band the Moonlandingz. It was released on 25 April 2025 by Transgressive Records in vinyl, CD and digital formats. Background Released eight years after the band's debut album, '' Interplanetary Class Classics'', ''No Rocket Required'' incorporates elements of rock, pop, funk and disco. The album consists of ten tracks with a total runtime of approximately forty minutes, and features contributions from Ewen Bremner, Nadine Shah and Iggy Pop. Its first and second singles, "The Sign of a Man" and "Give Me More", were released on 21 January and 24 February 2025. Add N to (X) were an English electronic music band formed in London in 1994. The original members were Andrew Aveling, Barry Smith (aka Barry 7) and Ann Shenton. Steven Claydon replaced Aveling in 1997. After several releases on small labels, they signed to the independent label Mute Records in 1998, and achieved modest commercial success before splitting in 2003. Several of their songs and music videos are adult/sex-related: the video for "Metal Fingers in My Body" is an animated short featuring a woman having sex with a robot, and their video for "Plug Me In" features porn actresses playing with sex toys.
