The Montana Mathematics Enthusiast
''The Mathematics Enthusiast'' is a triannual peer-reviewed open access academic journal covering undergraduate mathematics, mathematics education, including historical, philosophical, and cross-cultural perspectives on mathematics. It is hosted by ScholarWorks at the University of Montana. The journal was established in 2004 and its founding editor-in-chief is Bharath Sriraman. The journal exists as an independent entity in order to give authors full copyright over their articles, and is not affiliated with any commercial publishing companies. Bharath Sriraman
Bharath Sriraman (born 1971) is an Indian-born Professor of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Montana – Missoula and an academic editor, known for his contributions to the interdisciplinarity of mathematics-science-arts, theory development in mathematics education, creativity research, the history and philosophy of mathematics ;and gifted education. Education and honors Bharath Sriraman attended St. Michael’s School (founded by the Jesuits of St. Michael's Church, Mumbai) from 1976-87. He graduated with a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1995. PsycINFO is a database of abstracts of literature in the field of psychology. It is produced by the American Psychological Association and distributed on the association's APA PsycNET and through third-party vendors. Emerging Sources Citation Index
The Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) is a citation index produced since 2015 by Thomson Reuters and now by Clarivate. According to the publisher, the index includes "peer-reviewed publications of regional importance and in emerging scientific fields". The ESCI is accessible through the Web of Science, together with other Clarivate indexes. As of June 2021, all journals indexed in ESCI are also included in the Journal Citation Reports. While these journals still did not receive an impact factor until the next year, they did contribute citations to the calculation of other journals' impact factors. In July 2022, Clarivate announced that journals in the ESCI obtain an impact factor effective from JCR Year 2022 first released in June 2023.
