Rockne Krebs
Rockne Krebs (December 24, 1938 – October 10, 2011) was a contemporary American artist and sculptor. Biography Early life Krebs was born on December 24, 1938, in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Kansas in 1961 and moved to Washington after he joined the Navy. While living there, he found love for art through the Washington Color School art movement, and was influenced by Gene Davis and Kenneth Noland paintings. Career 19681976 In 1968 he designed the first three-dimensional laser sculpture which can be found in Long Beach, California. He did the same type of sculptures nationwide in 25 cities and later on he represented United States at Expo '70 in Osaka, Japan. In 1969, he and his fellow engineers worked at Hewlett-Packard in California where their job was to develop some environmental sculptures. Metrorail (Miami-Dade County)
Metrorail is the heavy rail rapid transit system of Miami and Miami-Dade County in the U.S. state of Florida. Metrorail is operated by Miami-Dade Transit (MDT), a departmental agency of Miami-Dade County. The Miami River is a river in the United States state of Florida that drains out of the Everglades and runs through the city of Miami, including Downtown. The long river flows from the terminus of the Miami Canal at Miami International Airport to Biscayne Bay. It was originally a natural river inhabited at its mouth by the Tequesta Indians, but it was dredged and is now polluted throughout its route through Miami-Dade County.
