The Man With The Grey Glove
''The Man with the Grey Glove'' () is a 1948 Italian mystery crime film directed by Camillo Mastrocinque and starring Annette Bach, Roldano Lupi and Antonio Centa. Cinematographer Gábor Pogány used a number of camera shots to give the production the feel of a film noir. The film's sets were designed by the art director Ottavio Scotti. It earned around sixty five million lire at the box office.Chiti & Poppi p.387 Synopsis Set in the art world, a forgery of a famous painting leads on to a series of murders. Camillo Mastrocinque (11 May 1901 – 23 April 1969) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Ottavio Scotti (1904–1975) was an Italian art director. Scotti was born in Umago, which was then part of Italy but is today in Croatia. Lauro Gazzolo (born Ilario Gazzolo; 15 October 1900 – 2 October 1970) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Eros (, ; ) is the Greek god of love and sex. The Romans referred to him as Cupid or Amor. In the earliest account, he is a primordial god, while in later accounts he is the child of Aphrodite.
