The Lazarus Contract
"The Lazarus Contract" is a Deathstroke / Teen Titans crossover event featuring Deathstroke and the Flash in the DC Comics. The story revolves around Deathstroke trying to steal the Flashes' powers to travel back in time to save his son. The crossover received generally positive reviews for the plot and artstyle, but the ending received some criticism. Synopsis Years ago, Deathstroke and his son Grant Wilson were fighting against the Teen Titans (Robin, Kid Flash, Garth, Red Arrow, Wonder Girl, and Omen) where Grant nearly kills Robin when he suddenly has a heart attack. Kid Flash tries to save Ravager, but is too late. Deathstroke blames Grant's death on the original Teen Titans, and tells them they will all pay. In the current day, Slade wakes up in the hospital after his beating from Jericho with his friend Billy Wintergreen by his side. Christopher James Priest (born James Christopher Owsley , June 30, 1961) is an American comic book writer who is at times credited simply as Priest. He changed his name legally circa 1993. He was the first black writer-editor in mainstream comics. Comics writing Priest (as Jim Owsley) entered the comics industry as a Marvel Comics intern in 1978. He joined Marvel's editorial staff in 1979, working for Paul Laikin as a managing editor on '' Crazy Magazine'' and becoming the first African American editor in mainstream comics. He next became assistant editor for Larry Hama on the '' Conan'' titles. Owsley made his professional debut as a writer in 1983 with issue No. 1 of '' The Falcon'' miniseries and was made full editor of the ''Spider-Man'' comic books from 1985 to 1986. Lilith Clay, also known as Omen, is a superheroine appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Robert Kanigher and Nick Cardy, Lilith made her first appearance in ''Teen Titans'' #25 (February 1970) and commonly appears as a member of the eponymous group. The Justice League, or Justice League of America (JLA), is a group of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The team first appeared in ''The Brave and the Bold'' #28 (March 1960). Writer Gardner Fox conceived the team as a revival of the Justice Society of America, a similar team from DC Comics from the 1940s which had been pulled out of print due to a decline in sales. Rose Wilson
Rose Wilson is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. She was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Art Nichols, first appearing in a 1992 issue of ''Deathstroke the Terminator'' #15.
