The Lawfare Project
The Lawfare Project is an American pro-Israel think tank, non-profit, and litigation fund. The Lawfare Project funds legal actions to challenge anti-Israel policies. The Project is dedicated, in its own words, to fighting "the effort by enemies of the State of Israel to delegitimize Israel and impair its ability to defend itself." Overview Human rights attorney Brooke Goldstein founded The Lawfare Project in 2010. The Lawfare Project describes itself as "the world's only international pro-Israel litigation fund" and states that it "has launched more than 70 lawsuits and legal actions in 16 jurisdictions across the globe." The organization states it "maintains an international network of more than 800 attorneys" to support its work. Brooke Goldstein
Brooke Goldstein is a human rights attorney. She is the founder and Executive Director of The Lawfare Project. Early life and education Goldstein was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is a graduate of McGill University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Her grandfather was a commander in a unit of Polish partisans that fought against the Nazis. Career ''The Making of A Martyr'' CNN anchor Carol Costello describes Goldstein as "a woman on a mission" who traveled to the West Bank, "as a young law student," to film the 2006 documentary film '' The Making of A Martyr''. Goldstein produced and directed the film about a Palestinian sixteen-year-old, Hussam Abdo, who was stopped at an Israeli border checkpoint when guards found live explosives wrapped around his body. Occupied Territories Bill
The Control of Economic Activity (Occupied Territories) Bill 2018 (commonly known as the Occupied Territories Bill) is a proposed Irish law that would ban and criminalise "trade with and economic support for illegal settlements in territories deemed occupied under international law", most notably Israeli settlements in Israeli-occupied territories.
