The Last American Vampire
''The Last American Vampire'' is an action horror novel by Seth Grahame-Smith and a sequel to '' Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter'', released on January 13, 2015, through New York–based publishing company Grand Central Publishing. The novels follows the life of an American vampire from the assassination of Abraham Lincoln through the world wars. By the end of the novel, he is thought to be the last surviving American vampire. The other characters depicted in the novel include Abraham Lincoln, Henry Irving, Bram Stoker, Virginia Dare, Arthur Conan Doyle, Jack the Ripper, Nikola Tesla, Grigori Rasputin, and Alexei Nikolaevich, Tsarevich of Russia. Robert Doisneau
Robert Doisneau (; 14 April 1912 – 1 April 1994) was a French photographer. From the 1930s, he photographed the streets of Paris. He was a champion of humanist photography and, with Henri Cartier-Bresson, a pioneer of photojournalism. Doisneau is known for his 1950 image ''Le baiser de l'hôtel de ville'' (''The Kiss by the City Hall''), a photograph of a couple kissing on a busy Parisian street. Jack The Ripper
Jack the Ripper was an unidentified serial killer who was active in and around the impoverished Whitechapel district of London, England, in 1888. In both criminal case files and the contemporaneous journalistic accounts, the killer was also called the Whitechapel Murderer and Leather Apron. Attacks ascribed to Jack the Ripper typically involved women working as prostitutes who lived in the slums of the East End of London. Their throats were cut prior to abdominal mutilations. The removal of internal organs from at least three of the victims led to speculation that their killer had some anatomical or surgical knowledge. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin ( – ) was a Russian mystic and faith healer. He is best known for having befriended the imperial family of Nicholas II, the last Emperor of Russia, through whom he gained considerable influence in the final years of the Russian Empire.
