William Beaudine
William Washington Beaudine (January 15, 1892 – March 18, 1970) was an American film director. He was one of Hollywood's most prolific directors, turning out a remarkable 179 feature-length films in a wide variety of genres. He is best known today for his silent films ''Little Annie Rooney (1925 film), Little Annie Rooney'' and ''Sparrows (1926 film), Sparrows'', both with Mary Pickford; the W. C. Fields comedy ''The Old Fashioned Way (1934 film), The Old Fashioned Way''; several Bela Lugosi and Charlie Chan thrillers; ''Mom and Dad (1945 film), Mom and Dad'', a sex-education exploitation film; and the popular The Bowery Boys, Bowery Boys comedies. Cosmo Kyrle Bellew (November 23, 1883–January 25, 1948) was a British/American vaudeville and film actor. Cosmo Bellew in 1925 Biography Bellew claimed to have been born in London, England, and claimed to be the son of noted stage actor Kyrle Bellew (Kyrle Bellew, at his death, was reported to be "unmarried"- long divorced after a brief marriage- and "survived by a sister", with no mention of a son or any other children). Biography Born in Rochelle, Illinois, Ingraham appeared in more than 280 films between 1912 and 1950, as well as directing more than 100 films between 1913 and 1930. Biography Comont was born in Bordeaux, she appeared in films in her native country, particularly short film, shorts, from 1908 and 1910, and then she appeared in U.S. films, starting with a few film shorts in 1917 and features including more than 60 films between 1919 and 1937, primarily as a supporting player, with several uncredited smaller roles. A heavy and short woman of 5 feet, 4 inches (163 cm), she died aged 51 from a heart attack in Hollywood, California in 1938.
