The Incurable Tragedy
''The Incurable Tragedy'' is the fifth full-length studio album by Canadian progressive death metal band Into Eternity. The album was released on August 25, 2008, in Europe through Century Media Records. This is the first album which does not feature longtime drummer Jim Austin, and the first to feature new drummer Steve Bolognese (although Steve toured with Into Eternity during the tour supporting ''Scattering of Ashes'' and appeared in the "Timeless Winter" video from the same album), and guitarist Justin Bender. According to the band's site, the album is a concept album focusing on the struggles of a man who is diagnosed with a terminal illness, specifically cancer. The concept was inspired by the deaths of the two best friends and father of guitarist Tim Roth. The first single off the album is "Time Immemorial", and the music video for the song was released on the band's MySpace page on December 10, 2008. Stu Block
Stuart Block (born November 26, 1977) is a Canadian singer best known as the former lead vocalist for progressive death metal band Into Eternity and American heavy metal band Iced Earth. Before joining Into Eternity in 2005, Block began his musical career singing for various bands in Vancouver. After two albums with Into Eternity, Block joined Iced Earth in 2011 and recorded three albums during his ten-year tenure with the band: ''Dystopia'' (2011), ''Plagues of Babylon'' (2014) and '' Incorruptible'' (2017). He was the second-longest-serving vocalist of Iced Earth, behind Matt Barlow. Into Eternity is a Canadian progressive metal band from Regina, Saskatchewan, formed in 1997 by Tim Roth, Scott Krall and Jim Austin. History First five albums Into Eternity was formed in 1997 by founding members Tim Roth, Scott Krall and Jim Austin and later released an eponymous, independent album in 1999, with the addition of Chris Eisler and Chris McDougall. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Electric Guitar
An electric guitar is a guitar that requires external amplification in order to be heard at typical performance volumes, unlike a standard acoustic guitar (however combinations of the two - a semi-acoustic guitar and an electric acoustic guitar exist). It uses one or more pickups to convert the vibration of its strings into electrical signals, which ultimately are reproduced as sound by loudspeakers. Decoy Music
A decoy (derived from the Dutch ''de'' ''kooi'', literally "the cage" or possibly ''ende kooi'', " duck cage") is usually a person, device, or event which resembles what an individual or a group might be looking for, but it is only meant to lure them. Decoys have been used for centuries most notably in game hunting, but also in wartime and in the committing or resolving of crimes. Hunting In hunting wildfowl, the term decoy may refer to two distinct devices. One, the duck decoy (structure), is a long cone-shaped wickerwork tunnel installed on a small pond to catch wild ducks. After the ducks settled on the pond, a small, trained dog would herd the birds into the tunnel.
