The Immortal Hulk (comic Book)
''The Immortal Hulk'' is a superhero horror comic book series written by Al Ewing, pencilled by Joe Bennett, and published by Marvel Comics. The series starred the various dissociative identities, or "alters," of Bruce Banner as they grapple with the discovery that gamma-irradiated beings such as the Hulk are unable to die. It quickly garnered critical acclaim, including three Eisner Award nominations for Best Continuing Series. After spawning numerous one-shots by various creative teams and a spinoff miniseries starring Gamma Flight, the series concluded with issue #50 in October 2021. Plot After staging his death at the hands of Clint Barton, Bruce Banner realizes the Hulk always returns from death through a "green door." His vindictive "Devil" Hulk personality begins to emerge at night, or when Bruce is threatened. Nelson Alexander Ross (born January 22, 1970) is an American comic book creator, comic book writer and artist known primarily for his painted interiors, covers, and design work. He first became known with the 1994 miniseries ''Marvels'', on which he collaborated with writer Kurt Busiek for Marvel Comics. He has since done a variety of projects for both Marvel and DC Comics, such as the 1996 miniseries ''Kingdom Come (comics), Kingdom Come'', which he also cowrote. Since then he has done covers and character designs for Busiek's series ''Astro City'', and various projects for Dynamite Entertainment. The Incredible Hulk (comic Book)
''The Incredible Hulk'' is an ongoing comic book series featuring the Marvel Comics superhero the Hulk and his alter ego Bruce Banner. First published in May 1962, the series ran for six issues before it was canceled in March 1963, and the Hulk character began appearing in ''Tales to Astonish''. With issue #102, ''Tales to Astonish'' was renamed to ''The Incredible Hulk'' in April 1968, becoming its second volume. The series continued to run until issue #474 in March 1999. In April 1999, it was replaced with the series ''Hulk'' which ran until February 2000 and was retitled to ''The Incredible Hulk''s third volume, running from March 2000 to March 2007 when it became ''The Incredible Hercules'' with a new title character. Doc Samson
Doc Samson (Leonard Skivorski Jr.) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is usually depicted as a superhero and psychiatrist in the Marvel Universe, known as a supporting character in stories featuring the Hulk. Ty Burrell portrayed Samson in the 2008 Marvel Cinematic Universe film '' The Incredible Hulk''. Additionally, Shadoe Stevens, Cam Clarke, and J. P. Karliak have voiced Samson in animation. Creation Thomas spoke on the creation of the character stating, I wanted a super-powered human with green hair to fight The Incredible Hulk, and I showed Herb Trimpe copies of the " Captain Tootsie" comic strip ads that ran in 1940s comics, with a hero designed originally by Fawcett Captain Marvel co-creator C.C. Beck. I had Herb add the lightning bolt and different boots in honor of that Captain Marvel, but the basic look in Captain Tootsie, as Herb remembered and often stated.
