The Hooten Hallers
The Hooten Hallers are an American blues and rock and roll band that formed in Columbia, Missouri, in 2007. History The band was founded by guitarist/lead vocalist John Randall and drummer/falsetto vocalist Andy Rehm, who performed as a duo and were known for their raucous and often improvised live performances. Paul Weber briefly joined the band in 2013–14 on harmonica and tuba, and wrote several of the group's songs, such as "She Used to Love My Music" and "Trouble Is". Baritone and bass saxophonist Kellie Everett joined in 2014 and solidified the group's line-up as a trio. The Hooten Hallers are a "high-energy blues, soul and rock and roll band known for their gritty Americana roots music". The Dead South
The Dead South is a folk- bluegrass musical ensemble based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The band was initially formed in 2012 as a quartet by Nate Hilts (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Scott Pringle (guitar, mandolin, vocals), Danny Kenyon (cello, bass, vocals) and Colton Crawford (banjo). Crawford left the band in 2015 and was replaced by studio musician Eliza Mary Doyle before rejoining in 2018. The band played live venues before releasing their debut five-song 2013 EP, ''The Ocean Went Mad and We Were to Blame''. Their 2014 album ''Good Company'' was released by German label Devil Duck Records, and led to significant overseas touring for the next two years. Stuart Daniel Baker (born November 7, 1954), known by his stage name Unknown Hinson, is an American singer, musician, songwriter, and voice actor. He was the longtime voice of Early Cuyler in the adult animated sitcom ''Squidbillies'' from 2005 to 2019. Biography Stuart Daniel Baker, a music teacher and studio musician from Albemarle, North Carolina, created his alter-ego for ''The Wild Wild South'', a Charlotte-area public-access program that featured comedy sketches and concert footage. Larry and His Flask is a self-styled "Post-American rock band from Bend", a city on the Deschutes River in Oregon. They have supported several bands such as Frank Turner, Dropkick Murphys, Streetlight Manifesto, Strung Out, The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band and Trampled By Turtles, as well as embarking on full Canadian and American tours by themselves. Split Lip Rayfield is an American vocal and acoustic instrumental group from Wichita, Kansas, United States. Though they are sometimes classified as a bluegrass, alternative country, or cowpunk band, their music draws on a wide array of influences. History Split Lip Rayfield is a band from Wichita, Kansas featuring Kirk Rundstrom (guitar), Eric Mardis (banjo), Wayne Gottstine (mandolin), and Jeff Eaton (bass). The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is a three-piece American country blues band from Brown County, Indiana. They have played up to 250 dates per year at venues ranging from bars to festivals since 2006. To date, they have released ten albums and one EP, most of which have charted on the Billboard and iTunes Charts. James Lewis Carter Ford (June 24, 1923 – July 16, 2013) was an American blues musician who performed under the name T-Model Ford. He began his musical career in his early seventies and continuously recorded for the Fat Possum record label before eventually moving to Alive Naturalsound Records. His musical style combined the rawness of Delta blues with Chicago and juke joint blues styles. Biography Ford was born in Forest, Mississippi sometime between 1921 and 1925. Although some researchers claim that Ford was born on June 24, 1923, at the time of his death his record company gave his age as 94, suggesting that he was born in either 1918 or 1919. Conversely, Ford's passport stated that his date of birth as June 24, 1921, while his Mississippi driver's license read that he was born on June 27, 1924. JD Wilkes & The Dirt Daubers are an American roots music band. The frontman for the band is JD Wilkes of the Legendary Shack Shakers. History The group formed in Paducah, Kentucky in 2009. Their self-titled debut album was released on October 13, 2009, on Arkam Records. The album notes also give performance credits to label owner Jamie Barrier and Katie Barrier, both of The Pine Hill Haints. Barrier is also the great nephew of The Barrier Brothers bluegrass group. The Dirt Daubers first performed at London's ''Raindance Film Festival'', where Wilkes was showing his documentary film, ''Seven Signs''.
