The Hard Road Restrung
''The Hard Road: Restrung'' is a remix of Hilltop Hoods' previous album ''The Hard Road'', featuring the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and American freestyle rapper Okwerdz. The album was released on 12 May 2007 in Australia, with a launch show and one-off performance with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra at the Entertainment Centre on the release date. International guests Okwerdz and Mystro performed as a surprise for fans; they were not advertised on the bill. The performance was recorded, and will be feature on a DVD along with footage from recent Hilltop Hoods performances. The album debuted at #8 on the ARIA Album Charts and was certified gold. ''The Hard Road: Restrung'' won the award for Best Urban Album at the 2007 ARIA Awards. Hilltop Hoods
Hilltop Hoods is an Australian hip hop group that formed in 1996 in Blackwood, Adelaide, South Australia. They are regarded as pioneers of the " larrikin-like" style of Australian hip hop. The group was founded by Suffa (Matthew David Lambert) and Pressure (Daniel Howe Smith), who were joined by DJ Debris (Barry John M. Francis) after fellow founder, DJ Next (Ben John Hare), left in 1999. Braintax
Joe Christie, better known as Braintax, is a British hip hop artist and producer. Christie had also recorded or appeared under the pseudonyms Brando Flux and Joey Brains. All of his releases were on his own record label, Low Life Records. Originally Braintax was a duo, consisting of Christie and DJ Test, who also contributed vocals and production. Test departed following the 1997 release of the ''Future Years'' EP and Christie retained the Braintax name; it has since become synonymous with him as a solo artist. Robbie Robertson
Jaime Royal "Robbie" Robertson, OC (born July 5, 1943), is a Canadian musician. He is best known for his work as lead guitarist and songwriter for the Band, and for his career as a solo recording artist. Daniel Smith (born 19 December 1977), better known by his stage name Pressure, is an Australian rapper who serves as one of the MCs of the hip hop group Hilltop Hoods, formed in Adelaide, South Australia. Matthew David Lambert (born 6 May 1977), better known by his stage name Suffa, is an Australian rapper and producer best known as one of the members of the hip hop group Hilltop Hoods.
