The Goat Life
''The Goat Life'' (natively known as ''Aadujeevitham'') is a 2024 Malayalam-language biographical survival drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy. The film is an international co-production involving companies in India and the United States. It is an adaptation of the 2008 best-selling Malayalam novel '' Aadujeevitham'' by Benyamin, which is based on the real-life story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer in the Persian Gulf. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside Jimmy Jean-Louis and K. R. Gokul, with Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul, Shobha Mohan. The film was initially banned in the GCC countries other than UAE, subsequently the ban was lifted in all the countries except in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Blessy Ipe Thomas (born 3 September 1963), best known mononymously as Blessy, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Malayalam cinema. He has won one National Film Awards, three Filmfare Awards South and nine Kerala State Film Awards for his feature films '' Kaazhcha'' (2004), '' Thanmathra'' (2005), '' Pranayam'' (2011) and '' Aadujeevitham'' (2024).
