The Getaway Car
''The Getaway Car'' is a British game show that has aired on BBC One from 16 January to 3 September 2016. It is hosted by Dermot O'Leary and is themed around motoring; it also features the character The Stig from the BBC car show '' Top Gear'', as well as supporting characters the Red Stig and Blue Stig, described as The Stig's adolescent nephews. History The show's initial commission was for twelve hour-long episodes and made by Charlotte Moore, the controller for BBC One and Mark Linsey, the controller of entertainment commissioning. It was executive produced by Andy Rowe, series produced by Emma Taylor and its head of format, Clare Pizey, oversaw proceedings. Dermot O'Leary
Seán Dermot O'Leary (born 24 May 1973) is a British-Irish broadcaster. He presented the television talent show ''The X Factor'' on ITV from 2007 until its final series in 2018, with the exception of 2015. Since 2021, O'Leary has presented ITV's '' This Morning'' on Fridays, school holidays and bank holidays alongside Alison Hammond, a role expanded to the remainder of the week on a rotation with the departures of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby in the summer and autumn of 2023. O'Leary began his radio career working as a disc jockey at Essex Radio. From 2001 to 2003, he was a presenter for London's indie rock station XFM. The Fiat 500 is an A-segment city car manufactured and marketed by the Italian car maker Fiat, a subdivision of Stellantis, since 2007. ''TFI Friday'' (Thank Four it's Friday) is an entertainment show that was broadcast on Channel 4 television in the United Kingdom. It was produced by Ginger Productions, written by Danny Baker, and hosted by Chris Evans, for the first five series. The sixth series was hosted by several guest presenters. The show was broadcast on Fridays at 6pm from 9 February 1996 to 22 December 2000, with a repeat later that night. Its theme tune was Ron Grainer's theme from '' Man in a Suitcase'', in keeping with Evans' frequent use of 1960s television themes in his work. A one-off revival episode of the show was broadcast on Channel 4 on 12 June 2015. The episode was well-received; on 23 June 2015, Channel 4 announced that it had commissioned a full revived series, which began airing on 16 October 2015.
