The Final Frontier World Tour was a concert tour by Iron Maiden in support of the band's 15th album, '' The Final Frontier'', which began on 9 June 2010 in Dallas and ended in London, England on 6 August 2011. Iron Maiden are an English Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris (musician), Steve Harris. Sonisphere Festival
The Sonisphere Festival was a touring rock music festival which took place across Europe between the months of June and August. The festival was owned by John Jackson and Kilimanjaro Live. It was jointly promoted by K2 and Kilimanjaro Live. It hosted heavy metal music, heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Slayer, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Babymetal (the latter group would make their UK debut at the 2014 event). The festival has not taken place in the UK since 2014. Stuart Galbraith, chief executive officer of Kilimanjaro Live, revealed in 2018 that Sonisphere will not return to the UK, due to financial issues. Bruce Dickinson
Paul Bruce Dickinson (born 7 August 1958) is an English singer who is best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Dickinson has performed in the band across two stints, from 1981 to 1993 and from 1999 to the present day. He is known for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence. Dickinson began his career in music fronting small pub bands in the 1970s while attending school in Sheffield and university in London. ''From Fear to Eternity: The Best of 1990–2010'' is a compilation album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, containing a selection of songs originally released on the eight studio albums from ''No Prayer for the Dying'' to ''The Final Frontier''. The title is lifted from the 1992 single, "From Here to Eternity", although it is not featured in this release. Background The album was announced on 15 March 2011, to be released by EMI on 23 May, although this was later changed to 6 June. Unlike their previous compilation (''Somewhere Back in Time''), the release covered two CDs to encompass longer tracks, such as "Paschendale", although the price remained that of a single disc record. As with ''Somewhere Back in Time'', each track is sung by Bruce Dickinson rather than Blaze Bayley (who sang on ''The X Factor'' and ''Virtual XI''), the band again opting to use later live versions of songs which originally featured other lead vocalists. Roderick Charles Smallwood (born 17 February 1950) is an English music manager, best known as the co-manager of the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. With his business partner, Andy Taylor, whom he met while studying at Trinity College, Cambridge, he founded the Sanctuary Records Group in 1979, which became the largest independent record label in the UK and the largest independent music management company in the world until its closure in 2007. Prior to managing Iron Maiden, Smallwood managed Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel.
