The Family Values Tour 1999
''The Family Values Tour 1999'' is the second live album that features select live performances from the 1999 Family Values Tour, and it was released on May 23, 2000, through Interscope Records. The album is produced by Jeff Kwatinetz and Bill Sheppell. History Ja Rule, Run DMC, Mobb Deep also appeared on the Tour (in place of DMX, who canceled prior to the beginning of the tour). Korn made surprise appearances at a handful of dates. Sevendust filled in for Filter on the Denver date while Filter took time off to film the video for "Take A Picture". System of a Down were originally on the line-up but canceled their appearance due to a feud with Limp Bizkit. The Minneapolis date was the only that featured both Primus and Korn. An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. Mobb Deep
Mobb Deep was an American hip hop duo from New York City. The duo consisted of rappers Prodigy and Havoc. They are considered to be among the principal progenitors of hardcore East Coast hip hopEdwards, Paul, 2009, '' How to Rap: The Art & Science of the Hip-Hop MC'', Chicago Review Press, p. 323. and hip hop in the mid-1990s. Mobb Deep became one of the most successful rap duos of all time, having sold over three million records. Their best-known albums are ''The Infamous'' (1995), '' Hell on Earth'' (1996) and '' Murda Muzik'' (1999), and their most successful singles were " Shook Ones (Part II)" and " Survival of the Fittest." Mudshovel
"Mudshovel" (originally "Mudshuvel") is a song by the American rock band Staind. It was released in 1996 as the first single from ''Tormented'' and then released as the third single from their 1999 studio album ''Dysfunction''. It reached number 14 on the US Modern Rock Charts and number 10 on the Mainstream Rock charts. It originally appeared in a heavier form as 'Mudshuvel' on their debut album '' Tormented''. Composition Musically, both versions of "Mudshovel" rely on a distinctive three-note bass line that shifts into a rumbling low accompanied by a guitar playing rapidly ascending and descending natural harmonics on the A string which pulsate with the rhythm. It opens the song and is preceded by tense vocals before escalating during the chorus. Leslie Edward Claypool (born September 29, 1963) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, filmmaker, and author. He is best known as the founder, lead singer, bassist, primary songwriter, and only continuous member of the rock band Primus since its formation in 1984. Frequently considered one of the best bassists of all time, his playing style is well known for mixing tapping, flamenco-like strumming, whammy bar bends, and slapping. Samuel Robert Rivers (born September 2, 1977, Jacksonville, Florida) is the bassist and backing vocalist of the band Limp Bizkit, and one of its founding members. Early life Rivers' musical career started fairly early on, with him playing the tuba in a band in Arlington Middle School. He got into music initially because of John Otto, who played jazz-style drums. Many have said that Otto is a cousin of Rivers, but during a documentary that was recorded of the band recording their second album, Rivers admits that they initially thought they were cousins but realised neither parents were related. John Everett Otto (born March 22, 1977) is an American musician best known as the drummer and founding member of American rap rock band Limp Bizkit. Modern Drummer reported that Otto's playing is "grounded in metal, jazz, and hip-hop nd that hisfireball rhythms are the grease that makes the Bizkit cook." Wesley Louden Borland (born February 7, 1975) is an American rock musician. He is best known as the current guitarist and backing vocalist of the rap metal band Limp Bizkit, the lead vocalist and guitarist of the alternative and industrial rock band Black Light Burns, and the co-founder of experimental metal band Big Dumb Face. He gained popularity when Limp Bizkit achieved mainstream success in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
