The Face (EP)
''The Face'' is the second extended play of British electronic music duo Disclosure, consisting of Guy and Howard Lawrence. It was released on 4 June 2012, by the Greco-Roman label, its remix EP, which features a re-cut of "Control" by Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, distributed in September 2012. The four-track record, which contains musical styles of balearic beat, UK garage, dubstep and techno, features vocal contributions from Sinéad Harnett and Ria Ritchie. It was described by one reviewer as more a "youthful" release of a dubstep and techno scene consisting of artists like James Blake and Little Dragon. The EP is a big departure from their previous works in terms of musical style, its few post-dubstep elements to be the only ones that were also present on their past releases. Disclosure (band)
Disclosure is an English electronic music duo consisting of brothers Howard (born 11 May 1994) and Guy Lawrence (born 25 May 1991). They grew up in Reigate, Surrey. Their debut studio album, '' Settle'', released on 3 June 2013, by PMR Records, was nominated for Best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards. They released a second studio album, ''Caracal'', on 25 September 2015 which was also nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards. Future Garage
Future garage is a genre of electronic music that incorporates a variety of influences from UK garage and softer elements from 2-step garage, leading to an off-kilter rhythmic style. Characteristic sounds are pitched vocal chops, warm filtered reese basses, dark atmospheres (including synth pads, field recordings and other atmospheric sounds) and vinyl crackle. Staccato
Staccato (; Italian for "detached") is a form of Articulation (music), musical articulation. In modern notation, it signifies a note of shortened duration, separated from the note that may follow by silence. It has been described by theorists and has appeared in music since at least 1676. Lewis Beadle, professionally known as El-B, is an English record producer, songwriter and DJ. Basement Jaxx are an English electronic music duo consisting of Felix Buxton (born 30 April 1970) and Simon Ratcliffe (born 28 November 1969). The pair got their name from the regular club night they held in Brixton, London, UK. "Fly Life" (often stylised as "Flylife") is a song by English electronic dance music duo Basement Jaxx from their fourth extended play, ''EP3'', released in 1996. The track was largely based on the 1996 single "Live Your Life with Me", which they produced for vocalist Corrina Joseph, their collaborator since 1995 in order to make "proper songs". It was re-released as a single by Multiply Records on 19 May 1997 with a new mix, featuring added vocals from British reggae artist Glamma Kid. It later went on to become Basement Jaxx's first charting single in the United Kingdom by reaching the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. The 2 Bears
The 2 Bears are a British musical duo formed in 2009 composed of Joe Goddard (of electronic band Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell (previously of 1965 Records). The duo produces original material amalgamating various styles including , house and soul and also host a radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio entitled ''Follow the Bears''. In acoustics, reverberation (commonly shortened to reverb) is a persistence of sound after it is produced.
