The Dø
The Dø () was a Finland, Finnish-France, French indie pop band founded in Paris in 2005. The band is composed of Olivia Merilahti (singer and musician) and Dan Levy (multi-instrumentalist). The duo has been backed on stage by three different drummers: Jérémie Pontier (2007–2008), José Joyette (2008–2009), and Pierre Belleville (since 2009). Their first studio album ''A Mouthful'' topped the French charts in 2008, making them the first French act singing in English to reach that position. Biography Formation and early career (2005–2007) Olivia Merilahti and Dan Levy met in 2005 while recording the music for the French film ''Empire of the Wolves'' directed by Chris Nahon and produced by Gaumont. They released their first piece under the name the Dø a few months later in the form of a three-track Extended play, EP. The band's name is derived from the C (musical note), first note of the solfège scale, and is pronounced as the English word "dough", with a long "o" sound. ...

Olivia Merilahti
Olivia Bouyssou (born 25 February 1982), known professionally as Olivia Merilahti and Prudence, is a Finnish-French singer and composer, best known for being the frontwoman of the musical duo The Dø. Her work has been compared to that of Björk, whom she cites as a major influence. Merilahti was born to a French father and a Finnish mother. She primarily uses English in music, which she learned at an early age.Finnish is my intimate language; I speak Finnish with my mum and I've been living in France for most of my life, so it's been my secret language. My secret weapon somehow. So these different languages play different roles in my life, and English has always been the musical one.Having studied classical music in Helsinki, Merilahti gravitated to rock music, then jazz and electronic music. The Australian V Festival was an Australian music festival, and a spin-off of the British V Festival. Like all V Festivals, the event was primarily sponsored by Virgin Mobile. The Main Square Festival is an annual international music festival organized by Live Nation which takes place in the first week-end of July in Arras, France. The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter. Paléo Festival
The Paléo Festival de Nyon, usually just called Paléo, is an annual open-air festival held in Nyon, Switzerland. It is one of the major open-air music festivals in mainland Europe and the biggest in Switzerland. Both a springboard for young talent and a showcase for established artists, Paléo has gradually opened up to all musical styles, as well as to the circus and street arts.
