The Dresden Codex (EP)
''The Dresden Codex'' is the second EP by alternative rock band Madina Lake and follow-up to their second studio album '' Attics to Eden'' from 2009. The release was self-produced after announcing that they had left their label, Roadrunner Records in April 2010. They subsequently set up an account on the website Pledgemusic to help fund the EP, which is sold to fans who have pledged as well as donating a percentage of the money raised to the Keep A Breast Foundation. On September 1, 2010, the band released "They're Coming for Me" to iTunes, after being recorded days before bassist Matthew Leone was attacked. The full EP was released on December 10, 2010, for download on Pledgemusic. Madina Lake
Madina Lake is an American alternative rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois, United States, in 2005. The band released their debut album, '' From Them, Through Us, to You'', through Roadrunner Records on March 27, 2007. Madina Lake won Best International Newcomer at the Kerrang! Awards 2007. The group disbanded in September 2013 before reuniting in February 2017. ''Attics to Eden'' is the second studio album by American band Madina Lake. It was released on 1 May 2009 in Australia, 4 May in the UK and 5 May 2009 in the United States. The track listing was announced in January 2009 by the British music magazine, ''Kerrang''. Musically, it is much different from the band's debut album '' From Them, Through Us, to You''. The booklet folds out to a map showing Madina Lake's fictional character, Adalia's, journey to Eden. The album debuted and peaked at #44 on the UK Albums Chart. ''World War III'' is the third studio album by American post-hardcore band Madina Lake, released on September 13, 2011. The first single from the album is "Hey Superstar", and the second one is "Imagineer" produced by Billy Corgan. This is their first album after leaving Roadrunner Records and signing with Razor & Tie. The Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on breast cancer prevention and education, based in Los Angeles, California, United States. The organization was founded by Shaney jo Darden and Mona Mukherjea-Gehrig in 2000, officially gaining NPO status in 2005.
