''The Devil You Know'' is an American documentary television program broadcast on the Investigation Discovery (ID) cable television channel. The program debuted on June 15, 2011, when it was one of five new crime documentary television series released on ID in summer 2011. The program aired for three seasons, with its final episode airing on December 19, 2013. Summary The program explores stories of crime mysteries and secret lives of men and women who are supposedly law-abiding citizens but in reality are people with deadly intentions causing pain to their loved ones. Investigation Discovery (stylized and branded on-air as ID since 2008) is an American multinational pay television network dedicated to true crime documentaries, similar to corporate sibling HLN. It is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery's networks division and is headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland. ID was originally launched as the Discovery Civilization Network, and focused on world history and geography. Stacey Castor
Stacey Ruth Castor (née Daniels, formerly Wallace; July 24, 1967 – June 11, 2016) was an American convicted murderer from Weedsport, New York. In 2009, she was found guilty of murdering her then-husband David Castor with antifreeze in 2005 and attempting to murder her daughter, Ashley Wallace, by spiking her drinks with pills in 2007. In addition, she was suspected of having murdered her first husband, Michael Wallace, in 2000; his grave lay next to David's until the latter's remains were disinterred and buried elsewhere in 2016.
