The Destined One
The Destined One (), is a reality dating show, for each episode, four local celebrities are invited to play matchmaker and a group of 10 men and women will attempt to find the right match. Format In each episode, four men or women will be hidden from view as the "fated persons (有缘人)". The remaining six men or women stand at the podium to award points (1 to 10) to all the fated persons based on star matchmakers' recommendations and interactions with the fated persons. There is a total of five rounds at each episode, and one fated person with the lowest point will be eliminated from the round. In the 1st round, the star matchmakers will introduce the fated persons and make their recommendations. In the 2nd round, it is a question and answers round between the fated persons and the participants at the podium. In the 3rd round, the remaining two fated persons will perform their talent. Guo Liang (actor)
Guo Liang (born 11 November 1968) is a Chinese nationality law, Chinese-born Singaporeans, Singaporean actor, television host and radio deejay. Career Guo graduated from the Shanghai Drama Institute and moved to Singapore during the 1990s to join the Television Corporation of Singapore (predecessor of Mediacorp, MediaCorp). He joined TCS in 1994. He joined SPH MediaWorks in late 2000 but returned to Mediacorp, MediaCorp in 2005 when the two companies merged. Kym Ng
Kym Ng Kwee Khim (born 1 July 1967) is a Singaporean television host and actress. She is known as one of Mediacorp's Variety Ah Jies (综艺阿姐). Ng has received numerous accolades locally and regionally. At the Star Awards, she was recognised with 4 record-breaking Best Variety Show Host wins in 1998, 1999, 2011 and 2013, two Best Supporting Actress wins in 2018 and 2021, and a Best Actress win in 2024. Lina Ng
