The Darkest Universe
''The Darkest Universe'' is a 2016 black comedy film by Will Sharpe and Tom Kingsley. The film premiered at the London Comedy Film Festival (LOCO) in April 2016, and subsequently screened at the East End Film Festival in July 2016. The film was written by Tiani Ghosh and Will Sharpe and was shot over a three-year period from 2013 to 2015. Tom Kingsley
Tom Kingsley is an English TV and film director. He is best known for directing ''Ghosts'' and three-time BAFTA-winning Channel 4 sitcom ''Stath Lets Flats''. His work has been nominated for the 2012 BAFTAs, the 2011 British Independent Film Awards, the ''Guardian First Film Award'', the ''Evening Standard Film Awards'', and the Raindance Film Festival. Education Kingsley was educated at Eton College, a boarding independent school for boys in Eton in Berkshire, followed by Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where he studied English, and was a member of the comedy group Footlights, directing the Footlights Revue "Wham Bam" at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe. Will Sharpe
William Tomomori Fukuda Sharpe (born 22 September 1986) is an English actor, writer, and director. He is known for writing, directing, and starring in the 2016 dark comedy-drama ''Flowers''. He starred in the drama series ''Giri/Haji'' and the second season of the HBO series ''The White Lotus''. Early life and education Sharpe was born in London and raised in Tokyo until the age of eight. His mother is Japanese. After returning to the United Kingdom, he studied at Winchester College. After graduating from Winchester, Sharpe read classics at the University of Cambridge, where he was the president of the Footlights Revue. A narrowboat is a particular type of canal boat, built to fit the narrow locks of the United Kingdom. The UK's canal system provided a nationwide transport network during the Industrial Revolution, but with the advent of the railways, commercial canal traffic gradually diminished and the last regular long-distance transportation of goods by canal had virtually disappeared by 1970.
