''The Crossover'' is an American sports drama television series based on the novel of the same name by Kwame Alexander. It was released on April 5, 2023 on Disney+. It received two nominations at the 2nd Children's and Family Emmy Awards, winning Outstanding Young Teen Series. Sports Drama
A sports film is a film genre in which any particular sport plays a prominent role in the film's plot or acts as its central theme. The Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) is a labor union representing film, television, radio, and new media writers. It was formed in 1954 from five organizations representing writers, including the Screen Writers Guild. It has around 20,000 members.
