''The Craving'' is a 1918 American silent drama film written and directed by John and Francis Ford. A 35mm print of the film with Dutch intertitles survives in the EYE Film Instituut Nederland film archive. Plot Carroll Wayles (Ford) is a chemist who has discovered the formula for a high explosive. This is a secret All Kasarib (Gerald) wishes to learn. He uses his ward, Beulah Grey (Gaston), who is under his hypnotic power, to tempt Wayles with liquor, knowing that he has formerly been addicted to drink, but had overcome it. Wayles returns to his former mode of living. Kasarib gains the ascendency over him and learns the secret. Wayles’ spirit is taken on an imaginary trip over battlegrounds and through scenes of lust to show him the pitfalls that await slaves of the flesh. Wayles awakens a changed man. He goes to the laboratory of Kasarib, where there is a struggle, during which an explosion kills Kasarib. Wayles and the ward are then free to marry each other. Cast * F ... ''The Craving'' is the debut and only album by American rock band MD.45, released on July 23, 1996, on Slab Records, a subsidiary of Capitol Records. A remastered version was released in 2004 on Capitol Records which features the original vocals by Lee Ving removed and re-recorded by the band's guitarist, Dave Mustaine. Mustaine stated that he replaced Ving's original vocal tracks "to entice interest from Megadeth fans who might have overlooked the original." Many of the songs from the album were originally written for Megadeth, but due to the band almost breaking up, Mustaine decided to start a side project instead. On June 24, 2023, Megadeth and Lee Ving performed the song "Nothing is Something" live at a concert in Tampa, Florida. This marks the only time an MD.45 song has been performed live. "The Craving" is a song by American musical duo Twenty One Pilots, released on May 22, 2024, through Fueled by Ramen as the fourth and final single from their seventh studio album ''Clancy''. Two different versions of the song were released by the band with differing arrangements and production, with one released as a promotional single and the other, subtitled "Jenna's Version", being released on the album itself. Background On May 9, 2024, the duo debuted "The Craving" to a live audience at an intimate show in London. The song would eventually be released in two versions, both differing in production and in instrumental arrangement. The "(Single Version)" is up-beat with more instruments and additional production by Spencer Stewart; the album cut "(Jenna's Version)" is an acoustic and stripped-back version of the song.
