The Craptacular B-Sides
''The Craptacular B-Sides'' is a three issue comic book Limited series (comics), limited series published by Marvel Comics in 2002. The series is set in Raven's Perch, New Jersey, a fictional town renowned in Marvel's main Shared universe, shared Marvel Universe, universe for having a far higher percentage of superhumans than any other small town in America. The three members are disenfranchised youths with little direction in life until they are approached by a man named Charley Huckle. He proposes that they become "The hottest new superhero team since the New Warriors". Members ;Jughandle: Jesse Metuchen is the son of the Raven's Perch mayor. The New Jersey Turnpike (NJTP) is a system of controlled-access highways in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The Kree, briefly known as the Ruul, are a fictional scientifically and technologically advanced militaristic alien race appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are native to the planet Hala in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The Skrulls are a fictional race of extraterrestrial shapeshifters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Benjamin Jacob Grimm, also known as The Thing, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a founding member of the Fantastic Four. The Magic 8 Ball is a plastic sphere, made to look like an oversized , that is used for fortune-telling or seeking advice. It was invented in 1946 by Albert C. Carter and Abe Bookman and is currently manufactured by Mattel. The user asks a yes–no question to the ball, then turns it over to reveal an answer in a window on the ball. Origin The functional component of the Magic 8 Ball was invented by Albert C. Carter, who was inspired by a spirit writing device used by his mother Mary, a Cincinnati clairvoyant. New Warriors
The New Warriors is a fictional superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They traditionally consisted of teenage and young adult heroes, and were often seen to serve as a junior counterpart to The Avengers in much the same way that the New Mutants/X-Force did with the X-Men. They made a cameo appearance in ''The Mighty Thor'' #411 (December 1989) and made their full debut in ''The Mighty Thor'' #412.
