The Costello School
The Costello School is an 11–16 mixed secondary school with academy status in Basingstoke, Hampshire, England. It originally opened as Basingstoke High School for girls. It became Harriet Costello Secondary School in 1972 when it became a co-ed, but was renamed Costello Technology College after gaining specialist Technology College status. The school was converted to academy status on 1 July 2012 and was renamed The Costello School. Before becoming an academy it was a community school under the direct control of Hampshire County Council. The school continues to coordinate with Hampshire County Council for admissions. The school, as of 1 September 2018, is now part of the multi-academy trust (MAT) Bohunt Education Trust. Basingstoke ( ) is a town in Hampshire, situated in south-central England across a valley at the source of the River Loddon on the western edge of the North Downs. Technology College
In the United Kingdom, a Technology College is a specialist school that specialises in design and technology, mathematics and science. Beginning in 1994, they were the first specialist schools that were not CTC colleges. In 2008, there were 598 Technology Colleges in England, of which 12 also specialised in another subject. Bohunt Education Trust
Bohunt School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in the rural village of Liphook, Hampshire, England. The school was opened in 1978. History In 2009 the BBC reported that Bohunt students had achieved higher than the national average at GCSEs in four years. and had ranked mid-table in Hampshire on the proportion of pupils achieving the Level 2 threshold . Thomas Rees (born 11 September 1984) is an ex-international rugby union footballer who played flanker for London Wasps and represented England at senior, Under-21, Under-19, Under-18 and Under-16 levels as well as sevens.
