''The Chiefs'' is a Philippine television current affairs talk show broadcast by One News (Philippines), One News, hosted by News5 chief correspondent Ed Lingao, News5 chief Luchi Cruz-Valdes, BusinessWorld editor-in-chief emeritus Roby Alampay, and Philippine Star editor-in-chief Amy Pamintuan. It premiered on May 28, 2018. It airs every weeknight at 10 PM (Time in the Philippines, PST). The program was broadcast by TV5 (Philippine TV network), TV5 from August 26, 2019 to July 17, 2020 and returned from March 13 to June 19, 2022 and from January 22 to February 26, 2023 and from October 29 to November 11, 2023. One News (stylized in all lowercase) is a 24/7 Philippine pay television and news channel owned by MediaQuest Holdings through its subsidiary Cignal TV. It was launched in May 2018 exclusively on satellite provider Cignal. TV5 is a Philippine free-to-air television and radio network headquartered in Mandaluyong, with additional studios in Novaliches, Quezon City. TV5 serves as the flagship network of TV5 Network Inc, which is owned by MediaQuest Holdings, the multimedia subsidiary of the telecommunications conglomerate PLDT. Since 2010, TV5 has been branded as "The Kapatid Network", using the Filipino word for "sibling". Ana Marie "Amy" Pamintuan is a Filipino journalist who currently serves as editor-in-chief of ''The Philippine Star''. Biography In 1981, Pamintuan graduated with a journalism degree from UP Diliman which would later bestow her various honors as an outstanding alumna. She was first a long-time reporter before writing passionate news commentaries under the column name of Sketches published thrice a week by The Star.
