Montagu Love
Montagu Love (15 March 1877 – 17 May 1943) was an English screen, stage and vaudeville actor. Early years Born in Portsmouth, Hampshire, Love was the son of Harry Love and Fanny Louisa Love, née Poad; his father was listed as accountant on the 1881 English Census. Career Educated in Great Britain, Love began his career as an artist, with his first important job as an illustrator for ''The Illustrated Daily News'' in London. Love's acting debut came with an American company in a production in the Isle of Wight. His Broadway debut occurred in ''The Second in Command'' (1913). He was typically cast in heartless villain roles. In the 1920s, he played with Rudolph Valentino in '' The Son of the Sheik'', opposite John Barrymore in ''Don Juan'', and appeared with Lillian Gish in 1928's '' The Wind''. He also portrayed 'Colonel Ibbetson' in '' Forever'' (1921), the silent film version of '' Peter Ibbetson''. Love was one of the more successful villains in silent films. ... The Challenge (Recess Episode)
'' Recess'' is an American animated television series created by Paul Germain and Joe Ansolabehere (credited as "Paul and Joe") and produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. The series focuses on six elementary school students and their interaction with other classmates and teachers. ''Recess'' first aired on ABC from 1997 through to 2001, and reruns aired on Disney Channel in the United States. The show premiered on September 13, 1997, on ABC as part of Disney's One Saturday Morning, with the first season spanning 26 episodes. The second season premiered on September 12, 1998. Disney brought the show back for a third season of 16 episodes which began on September 11, 1999, while the fourth season premiered at the same time, but airing on UPN as part of ''Disney's One Too''. ''The Challenge'' is a solo piano album by Hampton Hawes. It was recorded in 1968 and released by Victor. It was his only solo album. Recording and music The solo piano album was recorded in Tokyo on May 7, 9, and 12, 1968. The project was "a result of a Japanese producer's enthusiasm for Hawes's music." The material includes jazz standards, the contemporary pop song " Who Can I Turn To?", and three Hawes originals. All except " Bags' Groove" are short performances. Hawes uses "contrapuntal left-hand lines, doubtless compensating for the absence of bass and drums." Release and reception ''The Challenge'' was released by Victor in Japan.
