The Cairos
The Cairos are a Brisbane musical group. The band formed in Brisbane in 2007 and consists of members Alistar Richardson on vocals and guitar, Alfio Alivuzza on guitar, Reuben Schafer on bass and Jacob Trotter on drums. The group has released one studio album, working with producer Nick Didia. '' Dream of Reason'' was released in May 2014 and peaked at No. 6 on the ARIA Hitseekers Albums chart. In 2016, the band went on indefinite hiatius, first reuniting in 2020 for a small number of festival appearances over the following years. The Cairos officially reformed in May 2024 with their return single, "Take a Look at Yourself". ''Dream of Reason'' is the debut and only studio album by Australian indie rock band, the Cairos, which was recorded in 2013 and released on the Island Records Australia label in May 2014. It appeared at No. 6 on the ARIA Hitseekers Albums chart. Reception Reviewed in ''Rolling Stone'' Australia at the time of release, Samuel J Fell rated ''Dream of Reason'' at three-and-a-half out-of four stars and explained, "The much anticipated debut LP from the Cairos is an epic sprawl of an album, a tour de force... these songs build and build before breaking over you, a strong psych flavour at the fore, they differ in that these tracks are somewhat gentler and more fluid. A bit more warmth has also been included." Abbey Road Studios
Abbey Road Studios (formerly EMI Recording Studios) is a music recording studio at 3 Abbey Road, London, Abbey Road, St John's Wood, City of Westminster, London.
