The Broken Amoretti () is a literary novel written by Sudipto Das and Aparajita Dutta. It's the third novel by Sudipto, published by Niyogi Books and formally released at an event in Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, IIT Kharagpur in July 2019. The novel deals with a number of unconventional and apparently unnatural relationships. It pans across two generations, across two different cultures and societies, while the world awakens and matures to deal with such tabooed relationships in humane ways. It was published by Niyogi Books and released in India in July 2013 and officially launched at a function in Bangalore on 3 August 2013. in The New Indian Express. Sudipto talked about the sparse representation of the Bengal partition in Indian literature at a panel on Borderland Narratives of the Bengal Partition, held at the UIUC in April 2019.
