The Book Place
''The Book Place'' was an Australian educational television show for children, which aired on the Seven Network from 1991 to 2003. The show was originally presented by former host of Fat Cat and Friends, Lynn Weston with Brenton Whittle, and Andy Armstrong, with Michael Scheld as the Bookworm. Television and media personality Nuala Hafner joined the cast in 1997, while Pete Michell and Amelia McFarlane replaced departing cast members in 2002. ''Between the Lions'' is an American animated/live-action/puppet educational children's television series designed to promote reading. The show is a co-production between WGBH in Boston, Sirius Thinking, Ltd., in New York City, and Mississippi Public Broadcasting (the latter PBS station co-producing from 2005-2010) in Jackson, the distributor from seasons 1–10. The show won nine Daytime Emmy awards between 2001 and 2007. Although it is created by alumni of the fellow PBS children's show ''Sesame Street'' and featured guest appearances from some of its characters, ''Between the Lions'' was not created by Sesame Workshop, nor was it produced with their involvement in any way. SAS7
SAS, formerly SAS-7 and before that SAS-10, is a television station in Adelaide, South Australia. It is part of the Seven Network. History SAS-7 was originally known as SAS-10, an affiliate of what became Network Ten. It commenced broadcasting on 26 July 1965, as SA Telecasters. In the early 1970s the station was bought out by Perth station TVW-7 and thus, on two occasions, shared the same image campaigns as TVW's. On 1982, SAS and TVW were bought by the Bell Group.
