Location Shooting
Location shooting is the shooting of a film or television production in a real-world setting rather than a sound stage or backlot. The location may be interior or exterior. When filmmaking professionals refer to shooting "on location", they are usually referring to a "practical location", which is any location that already exists in the real world. The filming location may be the same in which the story is set (for example, scenes in the film ''The Interpreter (2005 film), The Interpreter'' were set and shot inside the Headquarters of the United Nations, United Nations Headquarters in Manhattan), or it may stand in for a different locale (the films ''Amadeus (film), Amadeus'' and ''The Illusionist (2006 film), The Illusionist'' were primarily set in Vienna, but were filmed in Prague). Location shooting includes any practical location which resembles the location of a scene in the script; for example, students in the USC School of Cinematic Arts, film school of the University of ...

Total War
Total war is a type of warfare that includes any and all (including civilian-associated) resources and infrastructure as legitimate military targets, mobilises all of the resources of society to fight the war, and gives priority to warfare over non-combatant needs. The term has been defined as "A war that is unrestricted in terms of the weapons used, the Territory (country subdivision), territory or combatants involved, or the objectives pursued, especially one in which the law of war, laws of war are disregarded." In the mid-19th century, scholars identified what later became known as total war as a separate class of warfare. Characteristics Total war is a concept that has been extensively studied by scholars of conflict and war. One of the most not ...

Sportpalast Speech
The speech () or Total War speech was a speech delivered by Nazi Germany, German Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels at the Berlin Sportpalast, Berlin to a large, carefully selected audience on 18 February 1943, as the tide of World War II was turning against Nazi Germany and its Axis powers, Axis allies. The speech is particularly notable as Goebbels almost mentions the Holocaust, when he begins saying (using the German word for extermination), but quickly changes it to (i.e. exclusion). This was the same word Heinrich Himmler used on 18 December 1941, when he recorded the outcome of his discussion with Adolf Hitler on the Final Solution, wherein he wrote ("exterminate them as partisans"). It is considered the most famous of Goebbels's speeches. The speech was the first public admission by the National Socialist leadership that Germany faced serious dangers. Goebbels called for a total war () to secure victory over the ...
