The Batiri are a professional wrestling Glossary of professional wrestling terms#Stable, alliance who perform on the independent circuit. They are best known for their time in the now-defunct Chikara (professional wrestling), Chikara promotion. The team includes Kodama and Obariyon, who work under Body painting#Face painting, face paint with the Glossary of professional wrestling terms#Gimmick, wrestling characters of demons, and Kobald, who performs under a goblin Wrestling mask, mask. Chikara (professional Wrestling)
Chikara (stylized in all capital letters and sometimes referred to as Chikara Pro) was an American professional wrestling promotion based in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The company took both its name and logo from . It was founded in 2002 by professional wrestlers Mike Quackenbush and Reckless Youth, who also served as trainers and in-ring performers. The promotion held multiple House show, live events per month, with the majority taking place at the #Chikara Wrestle Factory, Chikara Wrestle Factory school. Marco Jaggi (born January 12, 1980) is a Swiss Professional wrestling, professional wrestler and wrestling trainer, known by his ring name Ares (or Are$), who primarily competes in European and United States, American independent promotions. For much of his career, Jaggi teamed with Antonio Cesaro, Claudio Castagnoli and Marc Roudin as part of Swiss Money Holding. One of the top tag teams in Europe during the 2000s, the trio won titles in Germany, France, the United Kingdom and their native Switzerland. Ophidian (wrestler)
Ophidian is a retired professional wrestler best known for performing with Chikara. He was previously a member of The Osirian Portal stable along with his former partners Amasis and Hieracon. His gimmick is an anthropomorphic Egyptian cobra, which is reflected in his in-ring gear and cobra head mask as well as his mannerisms and speech.
