The Bar Wizards
The Bar Wizards (Neil Lowrey and Neil Garner) are a British flair bartending act. They first rose to fame when they were finalists in the first series of the British television talent show '' Britain's Got Talent'' in 2007, in which they lost to the eventual winner, singer Paul Potts. The Bar Wizards started off as bartenders but now perform their Tandem Flair Show worldwide, and bartend at private parties. Background The Bar Wizards are from Manchester. Garner originally worked as a bartender in Stockport and Lowrey in Blackley. They met while competing in flare bartending competitions and teamed up as a double act. Bar Wizards International came into being in early 2005, as a result of a partnership between Lowrey and Garner. The pair already had ten years experience in the bar industry and had worked in over fifty countries. Flair Bartending
Flair bartending is the practice of bartenders entertaining guests, clientele or audiences with the manipulation of bar tools (e.g. cocktail shakers) and liquor bottles in tricky, dazzling ways. Used occasionally in cocktail bars, the action requires skills commonly associated with jugglers. It has become a sought-after talent among venue owners and marketers to help advertise a liquor product or the opening of a bar establishment. Kombat (''the place of the giraffe'') is a mine and its associated settlement at the southern margin of the Otavi Mountain Range in northern Namibia. It is situated East of Otavi on the B8 to Grootfontein. Kombat at its peak had over 1,000 inhabitants. it is almost abandoned, although ''Kombat Primary School'' still operates at reduced capacity, and a clinic is serving the remaining inhabitants. ''Britain's Next Top Model'' (or ''Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model'' 2011–13), often abbreviated as ''BNTM'', ''BINTM'', or ''Top Model'', is a British- Irish reality television show in which a number of women compete for the title of ''Britain's Next Top Model'' and a chance to start their career in the modelling industry. The first "cycle" premiered on 14 September 2005 on Sky Living. The winner normally receives a modelling contract, cosmetics campaign, and a spread within a fashion magazine which also included appearing on the front cover. Channel M was a regional television station, serving Greater Manchester. The station, originally known as ''Manchester Student Television'', was owned and operated by the GMG Regional Media division of Guardian Media Group. The Paul O'Grady Show
''The Paul O'Grady Show'' is a British comedy chat show presented by comedian Paul O'Grady, first shown on 11 October 2004. The programme is a teatime chat show consisting of a mixture of celebrity guests, comic stunts, musical performances, and occasionally viewer competitions. The format was originally devised by Granada Television and was broadcast on ITV until December 2005, before moving to Channel 4 in 2006, where the show was produced by Olga TV.
