The BCN Connection
''The BCN Connection'' is the debut album by Spain, Spanish band The Pinker Tones, released in 2004 on the United Kingdom, UK Independent record label, indie label Outstanding Records. Before the album's release in the UK, it was released exclusively in Spain under the title, ''Pink Connection'' on the Spanish indie label, Wah Wah Records, in 2003. It includes two remixes, one by Konishi Yasuharu of Pizzicato Five and one by Ursula 1000, plus the video to "Mais Pourquois?" by Phila. The album was later released in Japan via Rambling Records under the name ''Mission Pink'' in 2004. It included an additional remix, "Pinker Party (Dry Pinkertini Mix)", remixed by The Pinker Tones & DJ Niño, plus the bonus tracks "La Fiesta", "La Persecución" and "Conduciendo". The Pinker Tones
The Pinker Tones is an alternative pop band from Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. They have released six albums. Songs like "Sampleame" and "The Whistling Song" are some of their greatest hits with many of them being included in the FIFA associations football games. Konishi Yasuharu
is a Japanese musician, composer and DJ. He was a founding member of Pizzicato Five and the only such to stay with the group until its breakup in 2001. Konishi's current activities are through his company readymade entertainment and his record label 524 records (a play on words from Konishi's name, as the numbers 524 can be read ''ko-ni-shi'' in Japanese using ''goroawase''). Collaboration Konishi is a prolific producer, composer, arranger and remixer. He has written, produced and arranged in collaboration with many artists, such as Unicorn, Towa Tei, Mari Natsuki, Cornelius, Yumi Yoshimura of Puffy AmiYumi, Alisa Mizuki, Akiko Wada, SMAP and Mika Nakashima.
