The Axis Of Insanity
''The Axis of Insanity'' is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. Plot The TARDIS, along with its crew of the Doctor, Peri and Erimem, lands at the Axis, a mysterious realm where the Time Lords keep broken timelines, splitting them off from the rest of the universe, so as not to affect the rest of the space-time continuum. However, experiments in one of these timelines is causing the others to fracture, and the Axis's Overseer has just been replaced by The Jester in a coup. Time Lord
The Time Lords are a fictional ancient race of extraterrestrial people in the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', of which the series' main protagonist, the Doctor, is a member. Time Lords are so named for their command of time travel technology and their non-linear perception of time. Originally, they were described as a powerful and wise race from the planet Gallifrey, from which the Doctor was a renegade; details beyond this were very limited for the first decade of the series. They later became integral to many episodes and stories as their role in the universe developed. For the first eight years after the series resumed in 2005, the Time Lords were said to have been destroyed during the Last Great Time War at some point in the show's continuity between the original series' cancellation in 1989 and the show's revival. The is a line of mecha toys produced by Japanese company Takara (now known as Takara Tomy) and American toy company Hasbro. Initially a line of transforming mecha toys rebranded from Takara's ''Diaclone'' and ''Micro Change'' toy lines, it spawned the ''Transformers'' media franchise. Transformers (comics)
There have been three main publishers of the comic book series bearing the name ''Transformers'' based on the toy lines of the same name. The first series was produced by Marvel Comics from 1984 to 1991, which ran for 80 issues and produced four spin-off miniseries. This was followed by a second volume titled ''Transformers: Generation 2'', which ran for 12 issues starting in 1993. The second major series was produced by Dreamwave Productions from 2002 to 2004 with multiple limited series as well, and within multiple story continuities, until the company became bankrupt in 2005. Roy North, born 16 March 1941 in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England is an English actor and television presenter, who played Mr Roy in ''Basil Brush''. He attended Hull Grammar School and is a Hull City fan, and occasionally he would wear a Hull City shirt on the television. He trained as an actor at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, and then appeared in repertory theatre in Yorkshire, West End musical productions and pantomimes.
