Henry Otto
Henry Otto (August 8, 1877 – August 3, 1952) was an American silent film actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. Otto contributed to over 150 films throughout his career, working as an actor and a director throughout. He directed many films in 1914, in films such as '' When a Woman Waits'', '' In Tune'', '' The Archeologist'', and '' The Redemption of a Pal'' working with actors such as Edward Coxen, Charlotte Burton and George Field. He retired from film in 1942. Otto was found dead on August 4, 1952, in Los Angeles. Charlotte Burton
Charlotte E. Burton (May 30, 1881 – March 28, 1942) was an American silent film actress. Biography Early life and education Charlotte E. Burton was born on May 30, 1881, in San Francisco, California. However there is some debate on her date of birth; some sources state she was born ten years later, on May 30, 1891; and other sources state she died at age 48 (which would be a date of birth around 1894). Burton attended The Cooper–Gerson School of Acting in San Francisco, where she studied under Leo Cooper. In December 1902, Burton participated in a theatrical program in South Park, San Francisco, presented by The Cooper–Gerson School of Acting. Career Burton was signed by the American Film Manufacturing Company in 1912 where she worked for several years. She joined Essanay Studios which she sued in 1919 for $25,000 for breach of contract. George Field (actor)
George Field (March 18, 1877 – March 9, 1925) was an American silent film actor. Early life Born George Blankman Field to George Durgin Field and Elizabeth Blankman. Elizabeth was the daughter of dentist and attorney Dr. Henry Gerrit Blankman, born 3 May 1813 in Amsterdam, North Holland. He arrived in San Francisco from New York in June 1849. Elizabeth's mother was Magdelena del Valle, the niece and ward of the famous Mexican General Mariano de Vallejo and his brother Jose de Jesus de Vallejo. Career George began his career as a stage actor in the popular San Francisco theatre scene but was signed into film in 1912 and had starred in 207 films by 1924. He also had a bit part in "Don Q Son of Zorro," where he was credited as George Blankman. George and Winifred Greenwood worked at Flying A Studios in Santa Barbara. Edith Borella (November 25, 1890 - March 6, 1974) was an American silent film actress of Swiss descent. She starred in films such as the 1913 film '' Through the Neighbor's Window'' with Charlotte Burton which was her debut. Edward Coxen
Albert Edward Coxen (8 August 1880 – 21 November 1954) was an English-born American actor. He appeared in over 200 films during his career. Personal life Coxen was born in London, England. He came to the United States as a child and lived much of his life in San Francisco. On 31 March 1884 whilst settled in San Francisco, Sarah Coxen gave birth to Ed Coxen's only sibling, a sister, Rosa A Coxen. On 14 October 1914, at the age of 33, he married Edith Victoria Borella in Los Angeles, a 24-year-old film actress born in Switzerland of Swiss parents. Borella, who also used the screen names of Eda, Ada and Aida, had played minor parts alongside Coxen in films such as ''Restitution'', where Winifred Greenwood played his love interest. Edith Borella Coxen died in Los Angeles on 6 March 1974 After studying engineering, Coxen became a prospector before he eventually became an actor.
