The Amazing Transplant
''The Amazing Transplant'' is an American 1970 sexploitation film, written, produced and directed by Doris Wishman. The film stars Juan Fernandez, Linda Southern, and Larry Hunter. Plot Arthur visits Mary to profess his love and propose to her. But when he notices her earrings, he begins to rape her and winds up choking her to death. His mother is worried and asks her police detective brother-in-law Bill to help find him. Meanwhile, Mary has been found dead, the police suspect Arthur and the radio informs the public about the apparent murder. In the course of his investigation, Bill finds several women who tell of Arthur's surprising rapes (since he seems an otherwise pleasant guy) while they are graphically shown in flashbacks. Each one has a different character: One is a violent rape scene, one victim (a highschool acquaintance) turns the rape into lovemaking, another (lesbian) victim is so repelled that she vomits afterwards. Doris Wishman
Doris Wishman (June 1, 1912 August 10, 2002) was an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. She is credited with having directed and produced at least 30 feature films during a career spanning over four decades, most notably in the sexploitation film genre. A native of New York City, Wishman began her film career as a hobby after the death of her husband in 1958. She made her feature debut with '' Hideout in the Sun'' (1960), and went on to direct numerous nudist and sexploitation films, such as ''Gentlemen Prefer Nature Girls'' (1963), '' Behind the Nudist Curtain'' (1963), and '' Bad Girls Go to Hell'' (1965). In the 1970s, she made her first foray into directing pornographic films. In 1979, Wishman filmed her first and only feature horror film, '' A Night to Dismember'', which she spent several years editing after multiple reels were destroyed during post-production. Penis transplantation is a surgical transplant procedure in which a penis is transplanted to a patient. The penis may be an allograft from a human donor, or it may be grown artificially, though the latter has not yet been transplanted onto a human. Cases 2006 allotransplant procedure The first such procedure was performed in September 2006 at a military hospital in Guangzhou, China. The patient, a 44-year-old male, had sustained the loss of most of his penis in an accident. The transplanted penis came from a brain-dead 22-year-old male. Although a surgical success, the patient and his wife developed psychological trauma as a result of the procedure, and had the surgery reversed 15 days later. Following this, Jean-Michel Dubernard, who performed the world's first face transplant, wrote that the case "raises many questions and has some critics".
