The Agápē Tour
The Agápē Tour was the second headlining concert tour by American singer-songwriter JoJo. It was launched in support of her second mixtape ''Agápē'' (2012). The tour visited just six cities; an expected expansion to the East Coast of the US and to Canada never materialized. Background In an interview with TheYoungFolks.com on January 4, 2013, JoJo expressed plans to go on a nationwide tour hitting the East Coast, Canada and other cities in the USA. She met with her agency in January to sort out a specific route for the tour. On August 28, 2013 JoJo announced the first five West Coast tour dates entitled The "Agape Tour" via her official Twitter page with special guest Leah Labelle as the opening act. Joanna Noëlle "JoJo" Levesque (; born December 20, 1990) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She began performing in singing competitions and local talent shows as a child. In 2003, record producer Vincent Herbert noticed her after she competed on the television show ''America's Most Talented Kids'' and asked her to audition for his record label Blackground Records. "Weak" is a song by American R&B vocal trio SWV from their debut studio album, '' It's About Time'' (1992). It was written and produced by Brian Alexander Morgan, who composed the lyrics based on a young person falling in love for the first time. Inspired by his crush on singer Chanté Moore, Morgan originally wrote the song for Charlie Wilson, but he later decided to give the song to SWV. Morgan later revealed that lead singer of SWV, Coko, did not like the song and gave him attitude during the recording of the single. It was written by Billy Steinberg, Josh Alexander and Ruth-Anne Cunningham, and produced by the former two with Da Family Records founder Vincent Herbert. "Demonstrate" is a song recorded by American recording artist JoJo, originally planned to be the lead single from her third studio album. It was written by JoJo, Daniel Daley, Anthony Jeffries and Noah "40" Shebib, the latter of whom also handled the song's production. The song's development was conceived after JoJo released a cover version of the song "Marvins Room" by Drake, which was also produced by Shebib.
