''The Age of Hell'' is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Chimaira. The album was released on August 16, 2011. The album sold more than 7,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 54 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. In an interview, the band stated they have filmed a music video. On August 10, 2011, the official video for "Year of the Snake" was released. The DVD that was released through a Hot Topic edition featured a 50-minute interview with the new line up, no music videos were featured. In the United Kingdom, the full album was given away as a free CD in the September 2011 issue of ''Metal Hammer'' magazine. Chimaira
Chimaira ( ) is an American heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed in August 1998, the band's name is derived from the word Chimera (mythology), Chimera, a monstrous creature in Greek mythology. Throughout its history, the band had numerous line-up changes, leaving vocalist Mark Hunter (musician), Mark Hunter as the only constant member. The band dissolved in 2014, but announced a reunion in 2017 and a return in 2023 with most of the group's longtime members rejoined. Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee. The band is named after the Whitechapel district in east London, England, where Jack the Ripper committed a Whitechapel murders, series of murders. The group comprises vocalist Phil Bozeman, guitarists Ben Savage, Alex Wade, and Zach Householder, bassist Gabe Crisp and drummer Brandon Zackey. Their core lineup, with the exception of the drummer, has remained consistent since Householder replaced original guitarist Brandon Cagle in 2007. "Wild Thing" is a song written by American songwriter Chip Taylor and popularized by the English rock band the Troggs. It was originally recorded and released by the American rock band the Wild Ones in 1965, but it did not chart. The Troggs' single reached number one on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number two on the UK Singles Chart in 1966. Their version of "Wild Thing" was ranked at number 257 on the ''Rolling Stone'' magazine's 2004 list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. It has also been performed by many other musicians. Dååth is an American death metal band from Atlanta. Their music incorporates styles such as death metal, orchestral music, and progressive metal. History Dååth was started by Eyal Levi and Mike Kameron, who had been playing in bands since they were in middle school. The two friends attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, Boston but eventually left school to concentrate full-time on making money. Emil Werstler is an American guitarist and musician based in Nashville, Tennessee who is perhaps best known for his work in Heavy metal music, metal and gypsy jazz. In 2004, Werstler became lead guitarist for the metal band Dååth, whose second album ''The Hinderers'' peaked at No. 49 on the Top Heatseekers chart in 2007.
