That Good Night
''That Good Night'' is a play by NJ Crisp, written with the intention of it being performed by Donald Sinden and his son Marc Sinden playing the central characters of the father and son. However Marc, who in 1991 had starred in Crisps' psychological thriller ''Dangerous Obsession'', decided to produce it instead and so it became his first play as a Theatrical Producer. The title is taken from the poem by Dylan Thomas: ''"Do not go gentle into that good night, ''Old age should burn and rave at close of day; ''Rage, rage against the dying of the light."'' Yvonne Arnaud Theatre
The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre is a theatre located in Guildford, Surrey, England. Named after the actress Yvonne Arnaud, it presents a series of locally produced and national touring productions, including opera, ballet and pantomime. The theatre has two performance venues, the main auditorium and the smaller Mill Studio. History Replacing a former repertory theatre in North Street which had been gutted by a fire in 1963, the present complex was opened in 1965 in a riverside site, incorporating a restaurant and bar available to non-theatregoers. Edward Hall (director)
Edward Hall (born 27 November 1966) is an English theatre and film director who founded the all-male Propeller Shakespeare company of which he is Artistic Director, in 1997. He also became Artistic Director of Hampstead Theatre in 2010. He is known for directing Shakespeare productions, musicals such as '' Sunny Afternoon'' and multiple screen productions, including William Boyd's TV adaptation of ''Restless''. Career Hall began his professional career as a theatre director at the Watermill Theatre in the early 1990s. Hugh "Binkie" Beaumont (27 March 190822 March 1973) was a British theatre manager and producer, sometimes referred to as the " éminence grise" of the West End theatre. Norman James Crisp (11 December 1923 – 14 June 2005), known as a writer only by his initials and surname, N. J. Crisp, was a prolific British television writer, dramatist and novelist. In the sixties after writing some single dramas, Crisp moved to writing for serials and turned out scripts for many BBC series including ''Compact'', '' R3'', ''Dixon of Dock Green'', '' Dr Finlay's Casebook'', ''Colditz'' and '' Secret Army''. In 1968, he co-created '' The Expert'', a serial about a forensic scientist, with its producer Gerard Glaister.
