''Thalía'' is the eighth studio album and second eponymous album by Mexican singer Thalía, released on 21 May 2002, by EMI Latin. The follow-up to her successful sixth studio album, '' Arrasando'' (2000), the album sees Thalía collaborating with previous producers Emilio Estéfan, Jr. and Cory Rooney, while working for the first time with Estéfano, Julio C. Reyes and Steve Morales. ''Thalía'' incorporates strong elements of pop rock, while also having Latin pop influences. Lyrically, the album touches on themes of self-empowerment and individuality. It also features two covers and a new version of an old Latin classic. ''Arrasando'' (English: ''Razing'') is the seventh studio album by Mexican singer Thalía, released on 25 April 2000, by EMI Latin. She collaborated with producers like Emilio Estefan, Roberto Blades and Lawrence Dermer. In many interviews during the album launch, Thalía said that this album was different from her previous ones, because it shows her turn to a more dance/techno-infuenced sound, describing it as a fusion between many types of music. ''Thalía'' is the eponymous debut solo studio album by Mexican singer Thalía. It was produced by Alfredo Diaz Ordaz and released in Mexico on 9 October 1990, by Fonovisa Records. The album consisted of songs inspired in the 1980s rock, disco, pop, and ballads style. The first two singles "Un Pacto Entre Los Dos" and "Saliva" were highly controversial due to their suggestive lyrics, but were nonetheless highly successful, and are now considered Thalía's classics along with "Amarillo Azul" and "Pienso En Ti". To celebrate Thalía's 25 anniversary as a solo artist, this album is available in the digital platforms iTunes and Spotify since December 2014. The ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Songs (formerly Hot Latin Tracks and Hot Latin 50) is a record chart in the United States for Latin songs, published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. Since October 2012, chart rankings are based on digital sales, radio airplay, and online streaming, and only predominantly Spanish language songs are allowed to rank. The chart was established by the magazine on September 6, 1986, and was originally based on airplay on Latin music radio stations.
