Texas Rangers (Boon)
'' Boon'' is a British television drama series made by Central Independent Television. Seven series and two specials were produced, and it was broadcast on ITV between 14 January 1986 and 1 May 1995. It was created by Jim Hill and Bill Stair, and it starred Michael Elphick, David Daker, Neil Morrissey, Elizabeth Carling, Amanda Burton, Saskia Wickham, Rachel Davies, Lesley-Anne Sharpe and Brigit Forsyth. It centres around Ken Boon (Elphick), an ex-fireman who becomes a freelance troubleshooter after he is encouraged by his former colleague Harry Crawford (Daker) to take on extra work. As Ken becomes more experienced in this role, he gradually becomes a private investigator, which eventually turns into a full-time occupation. Boon (TV Series)
''Boon'' is a British television drama starring Michael Elphick, David Daker, and later Neil Morrissey. It was created by Jim Hill and Bill Stair and filmed by Central Television for ITV, and was originally broadcast between 1986 and 1992 with a delayed episode which aired in 1995. It revolved around the life of an ex-fireman called Ken Boon, a motorcycle-obsessed small time businessman who at the same time acts as a private investigator, bodyguard and general troubleshooter. Since 16 January 2017, it has been rerun on UKTV channel Drama. The first two series are currently streaming on BritBox. The show was memorable for its theme tune - " Hi Ho Silver" by Scottish singer Jim Diamond, which became a UK top ten hit single in 1986. Maurice Denham
William Maurice Denham (23 December 1909 – 24 July 2002) was an English actor who appeared in over 100 films and television programmes in his long career. Early life Denham was born on 23 December 1909 in Beckenham, Kent, the son of Eleanor Winifred (née Lillico) and Norman Denham. He was the third child of four. He was educated at Tonbridge School and trained as a lift engineer. Like fellow actor James Robertson Justice, he played amateur rugby for Beckenham RFC. Andrew Keir (né Buggy, 3 April 19265 October 1997) was a Scottish actor who appeared in a number of films made by Hammer Film Productions in the 1960s. He was also active in television, and especially in the theatre, in a professional career that lasted from the 1940s to the 1990s.
