Tyrese Kendrid Maxey (born November 4, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He previously played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. Born in Dallas, Texas, Maxey was inspired to play basketball by his favorite childhood player, Dwyane Wade. DeSoto High School is a comprehensive public high school in DeSoto, Texas, United States. It is part of the DeSoto Independent School District and is classified as a 6A school by the UIL. The UTSA Roadrunners men's basketball team represents the University of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas, US.
