Tevita Tuʻifua
Tevita Tu'ifua (born 15 October 1975) is a Tongan rugby union coach and former player who plated wing and centre. He is the current head coach of the Tongan national team having previously coached the national 7s side, who he also represented as a player. Playing Career Born in Nomuka, Tonga, Tuʻifua played primarily as a wing and centre. He earned 15 caps for the Tongan national team between 2003 and 2007, scoring 20 points through four tries. He debuted on 4 July 2003 in a match against Fiji in Nadi and later went on to represent Tonga in two Rugby World Cups, participating in three matches in 2003 and four matches in 2007. He also played internationally for the Tonga 7s side, playing in 12 events on the World Rugby Sevens Series from 2002 and 2007, debuting during the 2003 Brisbane Sevens. Nomuka
Nomuka is a small island in the southern part of the Haʻapai, Haapai group of islands in Tonga. It is part of the Nomuka Group of islands, also called the Otu Muomua. Among neighboring islands are Kelefesia, Nukutula, Tonumea, Fonoifua, Telekitonga. Geography Nomuka is 7 square kilometres in area. It has a large brackish lake (Ano Lahi) in the middle, and three smaller lakes—Ano Ha'amea, Ano Fungalei, and Molou. There are approximately 400–500 inhabitants. They subsist on fishing, farming, and remittances from family members abroad. The island has a secondary school, two primary schools, and a kindergarten. It has seven churches. The island is accessible by boat only. Boats leave weekly from Nukuʻalofa, Nukualofa and Lifuka, Haapai. The 2003 Brisbane Sevens, officially called the 2003 Brisbane International Sevens, was an international rugby sevens tournament that was part of the World Sevens Series in the 2002–03 season. 2015 World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup
The 2015 World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup was the tenth edition of the World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup (formerly known as the IRB Pacific Nations Cup), an annual international rugby union tournament. The 2015 title was contested between the Tier 2 nations of Canada, Fiji, Japan, Samoa, Tonga and the United States. Due to the 2015 Rugby World Cup, the tournament took place in July and August with all teams having access to overseas players. Like the 2014 IRB Pacific Nations Cup, the six teams were divided into two pools, but instead of playing each team from the same pool like in 2014, each team played the three teams from the opposing pool. K. Manakaetau F. 'Otai (born 21 September 1968) is coach of the Tonga national rugby union team, Tonga national team (''ʻIkale Tahi'' (''Sea Eagles'')). He was educated at St Peter's College, Auckland and played club rugby in Auckland. His playing position was as flanker (rugby union), flanker (No 8). Toutai Kefu
Rodger Siaosi Toutai Kefu (born 8 April 1974) is a Tongan-Australian professional rugby union coach and former player who has been coaching the Tonga national team since 2016. Kefu acquired 60 test caps while primarily playing the position of number eight for Australia. In 2012, he served as the caretaker coach for Tonga and acted as Iona College's assistant. When there was a gap in the international window, Kefu also served as the head coach of Queensland Country in the National Rugby Championship. The 2020 Challenger Series for men's rugby sevens teams was the inaugural season of the second-tier circuit with promotion to the first-tier World Rugby Sevens Series.
